The beach is backed by private residences so food and drink outlets are limited to a few places; such as the Pier and the Naples Beach Hotel.

Things to Do
Naples offers many activities to be enjoyed in the great outdoors. Golf is particularly popular where there are around 90 courses on offer, many of which are private though open to the public during off season. It's also a boaters paradise thanks to the miles of backwater and mangrove forests lining the waterways, making canoeing and kayaking a prominent activity to be enjoyed here. There's also numerous boat tours, from dolphin watching to deep sea fishing, and romantic sunset cruises to thrilling airboat tours of the Everglades.
There are plenty of opportunities for day trips away from the beach, such as the Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens where a boat cruise around a lake takes visitors close to a number of cage-free islands which are home to the zoo's primates; and Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, 11,000 acres of marshland, home to 600-year-old trees, otters, alligators and a collection of endangered birds.
Out and About
