Golf del Sur is located on the south coast of Tenerife and it's main attraction is it's 27 and 18 hole golf courses. At just 10 minutes drive from the airport and a seafront location, the resort is a no-fuss sun, sea and golf destination.
Golf del Sur
Golf del Sur is located in the region of San Miguel de Abona and the resort is primarily taken up with golf courses and accommodation. In the surrounding area you will find rural villages, surfing beaches and harbours. The nightlife of Playa de las Americas and the beaches of the Costa Adeje are also just a short drive away.

Beaches
Golf del Sur is located on the coast and, whilst it does not have any beaches, the neighbouring resort of El Medano has several to choose from. One section of the beach is popular with families, whilst the remaining stretches are famous for windsurfing and kite surfing.
Things to Do
Golf del Sur golf club has a 27 hole course and a traditional club house. Further facilities include an academy and pro-shop, a driving range, bunker, chipping green, putting green and tennis courts.
Amarilla Golf has an 18 hole golf course, a 9 hole pitch and putt course, a driving range, a putting green, a practice bunker, an academy and a golf shop.
At Amarilla Golf you will also find the Pura Vida Horse Riding Centre which offers lessons to complete beginners and novice riders of all ages. Confident riders can hire horses unsupervised or go on a day trek.
Within 10 minutes drive there is also the 18 hole course at Golf Las Americas and, a little closer, the 9 hole course of Los Palos Golf.
Golf del Sur is home to the San Miguel Marina which is full of sailing boats and home to the yellow submarine which will take you on an underwater safari. Or stay on land and hurtle around the circuits at Karting Club Tenerife which is less than 10 minutes drive away, on the outskirts of Cho.
Out and About
The resort has plenty of supermarkets and there are a variety of bars and restaurants dotted throughout the resort. The San Blas shopping centre is located on the eastern side of the resort and there are two pockets of shops, bars and restaurants along the Avenida Jose Miguel Belvan Bello.
The neighbouring resort of Los Abrigos has some good fresh fish restaurants around the harbour. For a medieval feast, the Castillo de San Miguel, on the outskirts of the nearby village of San Miguel offers a popular night out.
Golf del Sur market is held on Thursday mornings and there is a small market in Los Abrigos on Tuesday evenings. At El Medano there is a street market as well as a farmers market, held on Saturday and Wednesday respectively.
Nearby Attractions
Los Cristianos (14km) is approx 15 minutes drive away and has a busy harbour, flanked by beaches and backed by endless pavement cafes and restaurants. Dolphin and whale watching trips run from the harbour as well as fishing trips and leisure cruises. The market is held on Sunday mornings.
Nearby family attractions include Monkey Park in Los Cristianos, Aquilla Jungle Park in Chayofa, Siam Water Park in Playa de las Americas and Aqua Land in Costa Adeje.
