Cala Llonga, Ibiza, Spain
On the east coast of Ibiza lies Cala Llonga, quieter than its more famous neighbours, but still able to offer everything that constitutes a good holiday.

Beautiful beaches and a nearby golf course add to the charm of this resort, as does the breathtaking back drop of the pine hills. Transfer time from Ibiza Airport is approximately 45 minutes.
Beaches
Located on the south-east coast, Cala Llonga lays behind a deep and sheltered bay which is framed by pine clad hills and has a family friendly wide sandy beach. The beach is approx 190 metres long and 100 metres wide and it's light golden sands slope gently into the clear sea.
The beach has plenty of sun loungers and the waters are safe for swimming and great for snorkelling. There is a diving centre in the resort and other watersports available include pedalos, parasailing, windsurfing and water-skiing.
Things to Do
Stroll along the lane and through the pine trees to the nearby, quieter little beach of Sol d'en Serra (approx 1km) and the charming Amante Beach Club which overlooks the bay.
There are mini amusements for young children and, at the end of the beach there is also a playground, with a few benches where you can watch your children play, under the welcome shade of the pine trees.
Ibiza Golf Club lies just behind the resort and is open to non-members. It features an 18 hole course, a 9 hole course and a practice range.
Take the morning ferry from the quay and spend the day on the neighbouring island of Formentera. The crossing takes about an hour and ferries operate from May to October.
Out and About
There are plenty of cafes and restaurants in Cala Llonga, most of which are on the road behind the beach. Everyday shopping is available in the resort too, such as supermarkets and chemists.
Cala Llonga is a family friendly resort and nightlife is relatively low key, although there are plenty of bars to choose from and seasonal entertainment, such as live music and shows at the hotels. For livelier nightlife head for Ibiza Town or across the island to San Antonio.
Nearby Attractions
For boutique clothing and a wider choice of shops you might want to pop into Santa Eulalia (5km) or Ibiza Town (approx 10km). Both towns are worth exploring and can easily be reached by bus, taxi or ferry.
The ever popular market at Es Cana is held on Wednesdays and is approx 10km away.
